There are two distinct towns to visit in St Croix: Christiansted and Frederiksted. The capital, Christiansted, is located on the "east end" and is known for its duty free shopping, art galleries, and the charming bars and restaurants along the harbor side boardwalk. Frederkisted is growing in popularity as a cruise port. It also has a tropical Rain Forest and Whim Greathouse, a plantation restored to the way it was in the 1700's. Buck Island National Park, an 800-acre nature reserve, features the only under-water snorkeling site within the National Park system and one of the best beaches you can imagine.

Relaxation on the beautiful beaches or partaking in the multitude of watersports available is a must for the Caribbean traveler. There are a variety of activities on the island including golf, horseback riding, fly fishing and sport fishing. You can also take scuba lessons, soak up the Caribbean sun on the beach, or go bike riding or shopping.
